Blue Johanna Cottages

Blue Johanna Cottages are located 2 kms off the Great Ocean Road at Johanna and are rated 4 stars by AAA Tourism. The property consists of 2 cottages and 2 in-house suites, nestled amongst 12 acres of rolling hills, deep ferny gullies and beautiful cottage gardens & lawns, all overlooking the Southern Ocean and Cape Otway.

Blue Johanna Cottages are just a short 7 minute drive from the magnificent Johanna Beach and centrally located to the attractions of the Great ocean Road including the 12 Apostles and Cape Otway Lightstation. Melba Gully is a short drive and offers a boardwalk through the rainforest gully during the day and a light show at night with thousands of tiny glow worms. The new "Otway Fly Tree Top Walk" is a 20 minute drive, and is the highest and longest canopy walk in the world, ascending through a magnificent stand of cool temperate rainforest featuring Myrtle Beech, Blackwood and Mountain Ash trees.

Fairytale  style Cove and Fern Cottages are very cosy and romantic, featuring polished timber & cathederal ceilings, wood fires, large corner spas, A/C, queen beds and breathtaking views across the Johanna Hills and across the ocean.

Each cottage has kitchen facilities including microwave, there is a colour TV (Austar), DVD, video and stereo. All linen, towels, aromatherapy soaps, spa gels, fresh flowers, candles, a selection of twinings teas, instant & plunger coffee and a continental breakfast basket on the first morning included.

Cove Cottage features open-plan living that offers lots of natural light, while Fern Cottage has an attic bedroom offering views over a ferny gully. A wide deck runs along the front and side of each cottage leading to a private and secure paved courtyard featuring a gas BBQ, outdoor furniture and a very cosy kennel for 4 legged guests.

In-house suites offer private and separate entrances and are different from most B&B's due to there being no shared guest facilities. Each Suite is separate from the other featuring a queen size bed, all linen & towels, TV, video, stereo, couch, breakfast making facilities, small fridge, microwave, tea/coffee, fresh flowers and candles.

The Standard Suite is an open plan style with beautiful views across our gardens and over the ocean, while the Spa Suite features a separate dining/breakfast room, bedroom with couch and ensuite with large corner spa and views into the garden. A continental breakfast basket is supplied for each morning.

Well behaved pets are very welcome, with a cosy bed, towels, bowls & treats supplied on arrival.
