HUNTER VALLEY COUNTRY CABINS offers quality accommodation at reasonable prices. Take in the morning sounds of the bush as you plan your day around the Valley's vineyards and attractions. Two of the four cabins look across to the Watagan Ranges. The two lower cabins are nestled next to a gully. All four, in the cooler months, can be shrouded in mist until mid-morning, giving the sensation of being protectively snuggled by Mother Nature against the rest of the world.

We invite you to escape with friends or family to our 120 acre bushland setting in magnificent Hunter Valley Wine Country - Australia's premier wine growing region. The Hunter Valley is a feast for all senses: the bouquet and many flavour accents of the wines, the degrees in depth of colours of the vines throughout the year, the morning chorus and twilight songs of birds and the unique gifts from artworks to produce to take home with you, and the rush and - or relaxation - of some of the activities the region can provide. And Mount View with its rural vistas and meandering road harks back to another time in the Valley; a quieter, more tranquil time.

Hunter Valley Country Cabins have a philosophy of maintaining our cabins to the highest standard while offering a tariff that is reasonable. We pride ourselves on our 4 Star AAA Tourism Rating and believe in providing true - yet unobtrusive - hospitality.

Our cedar cabins have two bedrooms, separate toilet and bathroom , slow combustion fireplaces and air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and each sleeps up to six guests. We also cater for guests requiring ramp access and grab rails. The interior hues of sage, muted grey/greens, deep blues and red sands bringing the colours of the Australian bush inside giving guests a warm welcome. Each cabin has a tv (with Sydney station reception), DVD player a cd/tape player, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and coffee plunger. We provide playing cards and board games available from reception.

The cabins sleep up to six guests in either queen/queen beds or queen or double and two singles. They all have a double sofa bed. The bedding linen - snugly feather/down doonas, crisp sheets, fluffy towels, plump pillows and extra blankets - are all provided. We will do our best to meet your requirements and advise that early booking - especially on long weekends or event weekends - is advisable.

Located in two groups of two, the cabins are ideal for couples, for friends travelling together, family weekends and get togethers as they offer a little peace and privacy away from a busy world. And yet we are just 15 minutes drive from the city of Cessnock, the heart of Pokolbin, and from the historic and beautiful village of Wollombi.
