While Away B&B

While Away is an ideal luxury (4.5 Star) accommodation situated on the Capricorn coast. An unspoilt beach is located just 100 meters away, with magnificent views of the Islands of Keppel Bay. The small township of Yeppon is only 2.4 kms from While Away, and there are many places for dining and shopping. The nearest major town is inland Rockhampton, a 30 min drive by car.

Guests have separate dining, sitting room and television room, however each room has a television as well as air-conditioning plus ensuite bathroom. Complimentary refreshments are also provided.

"The Best Place to Stay"
is a purpose built, four and a half star, exclusive bed and breakfast home, to cater for visitors seeking comfort and friendly service at an affordable price. Jean and Robin's aim is to provide the highest possible standard; no less than we would expect ourselves.

The home is surrounded by beautiful gardens and shady courtyards to be enjoyed by guests. Smoking is not allowed inside, however, there are facilities in the courtyards. The interior is tastefully decorated, spacious and spotlessly clean

There are three queen sized bedrooms and one king size with its own private courtyard (ideal for a honeymoon couple). Each room has air-conditioning, wall mounted television and a spacious ensuite.
One of the queen sized rooms is specialty built, with easy wheel chair access, to cater for the disabled person. The property is not suitable for children.

Linen is professionally laundered and all rooms are serviced daily.

Guest have their own dining room as well as a separate television room and sitting room (great for writing those cards home). Laundry facilities are also available upon request.

Full Breakfast for guests is our own special blend of a tropical and cooked meal, which is a great start to a day. Refreshments, tea / coffee, cake and biscuits are provided 24 hours.

There is also complimentary sherry / port for you to enjoy.
