Woodlands B&B

Port Macquarie on the NSW Holiday Coast is 4.5 hours north of Sydney and 7 hours south of Brisbane and is one of Australia's best loved holiday destinations. Woodlands B&B is a special place to stay in Port Macquarie.

Most of the 1.5 acres of Woodlands is landscaped with trees on all sides and appears more like a country retreat than an in-town dwelling. Close to all attractions, it offers seclusion, luxury and homestay hospitality.

The house itself is a large 7-bedroom residence built for space and comfort. Guest rooms comprise 2 x two bedroom suites, 1 x ensuited bedroom, two loungerooms which flow through to an open central kitchen and an adjoining dining room looking out to the solar heated pool at the rear of the property.

With spacious guest rooms and extensive gardens, pool, bicycles, golf clubs and other facilities, Woodlands will appeal to more active visitors. And if rest and relaxation are the priorities, there are lots of quiet places and comfortable lounges to relax in. Woodlands has no facilities for children or pets.

The Verandah Room
The timber panelled feature wall and spaciousness, the windows opening out to a private part of the front verandah facing a panorama of green and the most comfortable bed make this a beautiful room.
It has all the expected comforts - airconditioning, fridge, TV, VCR, DVD, radio/CD player, ensuite, hairdryer and queen size bed.

The Magnolia Suite

Both bedrooms are airconditioned, each with queen size bed, fridge, TV, VCR, DVD, and radio/CD player. Both rooms look out through large magnolia and camellia trees to the landscaped front gardens of Woodlands.
Their private bathroom is one of the features of the house. Built in classical style, it has a huge spa bath, double wash basins, spacious shower and magnificent fittings. The Suite can be booked as a single bedroom reservation only.

The Frangipani Suite

At ground floor with its own entrance door as well as internal access to the rest of the house, the Frangipani Suite is like a small apartment.  As well as the two bedrooms, one with king size bed and the other with queen size, guests have their own comfortable lounge area, dining and some kitchen facilities plus bathroom.
The Suite is airconditioned, with TV, VCR, DVD, stereo, fridge and microwave. The Suite can be booked as a single bedroom reservation only.

A two night romantic getaway package is available for $395 per couple which combines a magnificent seafood platter dinner for two and bottle of wine at the award winning Whalebone Wharf Seafood Restaurant and a picnic lunch along with bed and two great breakfasts at Woodlands Details of this and other packages are available on the Woodlands web site.

Breakfast choices include fresh juice, seasonal fruit, yoghurt, various cereals, eggs of your choice with bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns and toast plus bottomless tea or good espresso coffee (varieties available).
